A promise is a promise, so here we are: today the Fl0wer 1.5 is released for General Availability !

The mantra for this release was one word: Visualization. As a famous saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words" and well, I've taken it literally and you'll be able to judge by yourself.

So, in the short timespan between previous release (6 November 2017) and today, the biggest effort has been made on improving Fl0wer visualization capabilities.

But perhaps, the most interesting thing is that, being the client and the CLI tools completely open source, you can hack it the way you want and adapt it to your needs, without reinventing the wheel. There are even specifically written examples that show you how to plot your favorite data in a few lines of code !

Oh, and while I was there, I also introduced the report in PDF format using ReportLab. On which you can hack it too, it's standard Python !

Integrating Fl0wer with ELK or Splunk gives you all the required details and features to setup a useful security data lake and monitor in an efficient way all of your network, not just the perimeter.

But please, don't take my word for it, try it and try to do the same with IBM QRadar without selling a kidney and an eye.

Feel free to try the evaluation version, or do you prefer sticking with overpriced, closed & '90ies style products already on the market ?
